ECOWAS Death, Revival Of Sahel Region An Impact For Stability (AES)

EASTERN PILOT | January 29, 2025

As far as Sahel countries that comprised Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger Republic are concerned ECOWAS is dead. I watched videos where thousands of Sahel citizens mourned, cajoled, made mockery of ECOWAS Block on the streets with gasket displayed, probably for funeral.

Citizens of Sahel were celebrating with happiness in their faces for exiting the corrupt ECOWAS Block. This happens because ECOWAS fails on her core responsibility to protect its region rather, prefer to work as slave willing tools to their colonial nations to continue exploitation of the Africa subregion through political and economic imperialistic manipulation.

The bold step taken by the exiting nations to leave ECOWAS is a revolution of its kind for Africa re-formation and major strategic shift in this decade. The revolution move will bring ECOWAS to her kneel as many African countries will exit the Block. More especially, Ivory Coast, Liberia respectively as they still under suspension.

All this quagmire keeps and will continue to ravage ECOWAS so far as every Nigerian president elected or selected automatically emerges as Chairman of the Block. Hence, Nigeria is at the helm of the affairs of ECOWAS everything must continue to go wrong. An insane corrupt country like Nigeria cannot manage a sane organisation, it's impossible! It's impossible to give what you don't have.

Snake must surely give birth to something long, illegality cannot be legal.

A phrase from a maxim of equity: he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Nigeria is soiled with corruption from her executive, judiciary to legislative arm. In a nutshell, Sahel countries of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger Republic exiting ECOWAS Block is a call for revolutionary gears for rebirth, revival of African nations' sovereignty.
