Insecurity: Court Disbands Government Militia Outfit Ebubeagu

The Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Tuesday disbanded the South East Security outfit code-named Ebubeagu in Ebonyi State.
The disbandment of the state owned militia outfit, was as a result of human rights abuses, extortions, illegal arrest, burning of innocent citizens houses and use of fire arms perpetuated by the security outfit.
There are numerous petitions accusing the militia group of killings, harvesting of human organs and disappearing of perceived enemies.
